So here I am, sitting/laying on my bed in my dorm room. I'm avoiding homework at the moment and just created my deviantart. So yea, only one picture is up, but this computer is new and all my fairly good photography is on my old one...I will get it eventually. Regardless, I feel it is about time I try one of these blog things. I used to write blogs every now and then back in like seventh grade...its been too long.

Anyway, life is fairly good. I just started college 3 weeks ago and therefore have been a bit stressed. My last day as a Wet Seal employee was friday, and let me say, I am quite relieved! Not that working this was horrible or anything, I mean I liked it most days, but I've been so busy between that and school and have had no social life (which is what I thrive on). I will miss the money though...not that I made much at all.

Also, I feel I should let you know, art is my passion. That is all I want to do with my life. I hope someday to be a freelance photographer (being on assignment with National Geographic wouldn't be too bad though (; ). ALong with that I hope I can have some sort of source of constant selling (i.e. a shop or at least a website) for my art (photography mainly, but wood burning and pottery as well, and whose to say other mediums wont be thrown in there). Even so, I know I'm not the best at any of my artistic pursuits, and yet, I realize I wont be content with any other pursuit in life and therefore I guess I just have to follow my heart.

So what else to say?...Well I play the violin-ish, it used to be all I did in life but has kinda faded out, I'm hoping to get back into it to a degree though. My favorite things would include, my awesome boyfriend, elephants, cats, otters, amusement parks, music, movies, Ghandi, art, quarter machines (if they have good things in them like rings), nature (especially flowers and trees and mushrooms), fairies, vegetarianism, God, philosophical discussions, literature and so on and so forth (this list could go on forever).

At that I will leave you, I mean I'm quite good at rambling on about things but I think this is sufficient for the time being and my massive amount of homework is calling to me (in a very menacing voice).
